As the days go by and the technology develops more and more, we realize how amazing some of the classic retro games were. Sega is known as one of the biggest companies who has released some of the most important games in the history of PC gaming, and for that I decided to gather some of the most popular Sega games ever made. 

Among the most remarkable games released by Sega are Sonic the Hedgehog, Gunstar Heroes, Mortal Kombat and Streets of Rage. The series of Sonic games by Sega won multiple awards including Best Platformer at GamingXP's Best of Gamescom 2011.

Sonic the Hedgehog - Sonic the Hedgehog is a video game created by Yuji Naka and was developed and owned by Sega. The franchise centers on a series of speed-based platform games and the star of the series is the blue hedgehog named Conic, whose life is often interrupted by the evil Doctor Eggman. Typically, Sonic and some of his friends (friends such as Talis, Amy and Knuckles) try to stop Eggman and foil any of his plans of world domination. The first game in the series was published in 1991 and won great popularity.

Gunstar Heroes - Gunstar Heroes was released in 1993. It is a run and gun video game which was developed by Treasure and published by Sega. Treasure's debut game was originally released on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in the 90's and later on was ported to the Game Gear by M2. On 2006 it was released as part of the Gunstar Heroes: Treasire Box Collection for the PlayStation 2. The game itself won amazing popularity during the 90's and is still famous today. 

Mortal Kombat - Mortal Kombat is one of the most famous names in the gaming industry and till this very day it is still considered one of the most loved video games ever made. It was originally developed by Midway Games' Chicago studio in 1992 and it is currently owned by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The Mortal Kombat series is known for high levels of violence and bloody scenes, including its fatalities (finishing moves that require a sequence of button inputs to perform). Nowadays you can find Mortal Kombat X on the App Store and Play Store, which is a modern version that has been adapted to mobile devices. 

Sega is still known as one of the biggest companies in the field of gaming, and many of its games are highly popular today. It is responsible for some of the biggest classics of video games, and as such it is an important milestone in the gaming industry.

Most Anticipated Games of 2015

2015 has been a good year in gaming so far and looks to end things on a grand note. So far we have had Batman: Arkham Knight, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and my personal game of the year so far, Bloodborne. This is a time of the year where we have our gaming drought, there's nothing really coming out. To be honest I'm fatigued with the games I have. I played the hell out of the previously mentioned games. I'm a huge first person shooter multiplayer fan, but I've already played the crap out of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Battlefield Hardline just isn't capturing me like previous installments. Luckily though, there are some HUGE games releasing towards the end of the year. Here are my top seven anticipated games for the rest of 2015.

5. Need For Speed - I enjoy car games as much as the next guy. I think they can be really fun if done right, but lately the genre seems to be in a crossroads. Forza Horizons 2 was a great game, but was lacking in my eyes and couldn't keep me coming back. The last racing game I loved was Need For Speed: Carbon. Hopefully this reboot/sequel can deliver an awesome racing experience.

4. Until Dawn - I don't really know anything about this game besides that it's a horror game with a strong narrative focus. I've read articles that state every character can die and your choices actually affect the game around you. Hopefully the game delivers a unique experience that's fun to play and watch play out.

3. Uncharted Collection - I'm a huge Uncharted fan and will most likely get this game just for the novelty of having it in my collection. We also get an Uncharted 4 beta code for it's multiplayer.

2. Mad Max - This game looks like it could be a hidden gem, this years Shadow of Mordor, or I think it could be a very mediocre game. I'm leaning towards the ladder, but I'll hold out for the best.

1. Assassin's Creed Syndicate - I have bought every single Creed game since the series launched in 2007 and I loved it's last entry in the franchise, Unity. But Syndicate looks like a hot mess. It's graphics look bad, it's world looks empty, and it's new mechanics looks boring. I hope the game can be great and would have no problem with picking it up, but as of now I couldn't be more interested.

Now to the main course.

7. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - Yes, I'm a sucker for this franchise. Black Ops has been the better of the Call of Duty games and I'm looking forward to this one. I'll play it into the ground for a month or so and be done with it.

6. Rainbow Six: Siege - This game has the opportunity to be very good. It just has to get over the large hump that there's no traditional competitive multiplayer, it focuses on small intimate matches. I can't help but think of Evolve and the fate it had. Very well reviewed but lacked longevity.

5. Halo 5 - I've never been a huge fan the Halo franchise, but after dabbling in the Master Chief Collection and the Halo 5 beta, I will definitely be picking the game up. Hopefully it's multiplayer will be a revelation to me and gathers a large community and keeps it.

4. Rise of the Tomb Raider - I'm a huge fan of the reboot and this looks to be more of the same. Hopefully it will be the Uncharted 2 of this series, which isn't too much to ask. Well it's actually a lot to ask, but I have faith. 

3. Star Wars Battlefront - The long awaited return to the multiplayer franchise is finally almost upon us and I can't wait. It looks beautiful and more importantly looks fun. And I will be able to get my Dice multiplayer fix.

2. Fallout 4 - Before late May, Fallout 4 was myth. Now just a month later the game was revealed and dated. Dated for a release this November. It looks like more Fallout, which is absolutely fantastic. Their new features look like game changers and the game overall looks like a masterpiece already.

1. Madden 16 - Another game franchise I play every year is Madden. I will undoubtedly play this game for many, many hours and will enjoy every second of it. I'm a huge football fan and look forward to Madden every year. As a hardcore fan of the series, I can see the minor tweaks and changes that most overlook and dismiss.

Gaming once took the world by storm, and has continued to remain a constant source of attraction, and even obsession, for many people. While everything is good in moderation, how do you satisfy your craving for continuous gaming, and still remain healthy? Keep reading to find out how.

• Know how to put first things first - Gaming only become unhealthy when it starts to creep into and disrupt other areas of your life. No matter how hardcore your gaming addiction is, it can still remain a healthy passion instead of becoming an unhealthy obsession, as long as you remain clear about your priorities. Certain things like family and friends, a full time job, and health, should never be compromised upon.

• Take care of your body - You can remain a healthy gamer so long as you do not let your passion throw you off schedule. Gaming late into the night, or all through until sunrise, may be acceptable every once in a while. However, when that becomes the norm, and you begin you overlook your healthy habits in order to continue gaming, then that spells trouble. 

• Be an active gamer - This is a very important technique. Gaming on your consoles for hours on end can cause you to slip into the trap of leading a sedentary lifestyle. While it is a good thing that your brain is kept active by the gaming, it is essential to keep yourself physically active as well. This can be achieved by taking short breaks at regular intervals, and using these breaks to take a walk, or to do a couple of exercises.

• Stand tall - While most games that are played on the computer require the gamer to be seated, it would be fun to try gaming with consoles so that you can stand when you play. This is an exercise by itself. Also, you can shuffle your feet this way and that to remain physically active when you are seriously gaming.

• Drink to the game - Of course, we do not mean alcohol! It would be a healthy practice to take care of your body's fluid requirements, by drinking water at regular intervals when you game. Fresh juices or other healthy drinks are also a good choice. This, instead of the common junk of chips and fast food that we normally opt for, will kickstart you on your journey to be a healthy gamer. It is one of the important things to remember.
